Mauro Cappello
Mauro Cappello is engineer and from 2004 to 2016, he held the role of Audit Authority in various National Operational Programs co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Social Fund (ESF). In 2015, he was invited as the only Italian representative by the European Parliament to submit proposals for the mid-term review of the Europe 2020 Strategy. In 2016, he attended the “EU Budget focused on results” initiative, a top level meeting held by European Commission where he presented proposals for improving Audit activity. He carries out analysis and evaluations of public investments for public administrations and private investors.
